Email here or call the delightful Deb or Sharon at 480-496-2201 and they’ll answer your questions and, if you’re ready, get you on the calendar.

Our offices are near the I-10 Freeway, in the Ahwatukee area of Phoenix, Arizona – near the Chandler Blvd exit, so we’re easy to get to from area in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler or the rest of the Valley.

The mediations are unique, personalized to your needs, and thus the costs vary.  Many cases can be resolved in five to ten hours. (There can be additional expenses for preparing documents, taking unresolved conflicts to arbitration, or creating the documents required by the IRS for certain financial agreements.)

ONE POPULAR WAY TO START:  Call or email us and we’ll schedule you for a meeting we call D.O.R.A. – that’s Divorce Options Review & Assessment – that will give you all the information you need to move forward.

John Zarzynski (a veteran divorce lawyer and mediator/arbitrator) and Dale Dauten (a non-lawyer and a mediation specialist) with meet with you and…

-- Review the pros and cons of mediation, arbitration and litigation.

-- Explain how the courts work, including how spousal maintenance and child support are calculated. (We’ll put your financial situation into a computer program that does the calculations and provide you with the results.)

-- Explain how certain funds, such as retirement accounts and pensions, need special documentation for the courts and the IRS.

-- Provide you with background materials explaining what information that you’ll need, including a Dissolution Information Questionnaire you’ll take with you that keys you into the issues you’ll need to address, however you decide to proceed.

-- Give you samples of a Settlement Agreement and Custody Parenting Agreement, and materials prepared by the Arizona Supreme Court to help you succeed in agreeing on parenting issues.

-- And, most important, answer your questions and let you make informed decisions about how to proceed.

This introductory session usually takes 60-90 minutes.  You’ll leave with clarity about your options and your copy of The DORA Book™, full of information to help you make good decisions.

Do you offer “free consultations”?

We know that there are firms who offer “free” initial consultations – we do not. Most customers understand that “there’s no such thing as a free lunch,” so they come into the “free” session defensive, expecting to be sold. Not here. You won’t be treated as a “prospect.” We’re here to help, not sell.

When you meet with us, you don’t get a sales pitch; you get the advice, materials and help you need to start moving forward toward agreements.

Remember:

The day you decide upon mediation is the day you start a more agreeable future.
