Here's how it works -

You come in, alone or with your spouse, and learn everything you need to know to make the best possible decisions about your future.

We start with a modified version of our D.O.R.A. session - that's Divorce Options Review & Assessment.

You'll meet with one of the city's leading divorce attorneys who is also our lead divorce mediator. (You'll learn about all your options and get your questions answered. You'll leave with our DORA Book. It is full of the information you need to either do-it-yourself or to let us help you through the divorce process.)

You will learn how a mediated divorce can be completed in hours, not months and at one-tenth the cost of a contested divorce.

Then, you'll meet go right into the meeting with a bankruptcy attorney. While we at Agreement House™ don't offer bankruptcy services, one of our Agreement House™ Associates is also a bankruptcy attorney. She'll be there for the D.O.R.A session, then she'll explain bankruptcy and its impacts, helping you to see your options clearly. If a bankruptcy would be beneficial to you, she can refer you to a bankruptcy attorney.

The session will take 90 minutes to two hours and you'll be free to move forward however you think best - with or without our services. You will leave fully informed, knowing exactly what it will take to step forward into your new life.
